Black and white ikat hand-dyed and hand-woven cotton from India, is naturally blurry in a charming way. Ikat is a technique in which the warp threads are resist-dyed prior to weaving. Some of the most interesting and soulful fabrics are coming out of India today where hand made textile traditions continue. Mid/light weight, opaque with a lightly textured appealing cool hand, airy drape and a 9" repeat. Just right for a tunic, shirt, jacket, vest, dress, skirt or soft pants. 

Pre-treat by wash/dry gentle. After sewing wash gentle and air dry.
